Defining qualification criteria with well-configured rules and labeling tags with prescribed naming conventions has a direct impact on the reduction of campaign spend, resource costs, and time costs.
Qualification criteria are not tied to a tag. It can be stacked to create a criterion or rule which constitutes ‘all pages’. You can fire those tags based on the rules defined within qualification criteria. For instance, the rule could be about a specific language such as Spanish or English. Tags can validate the criteria and fire accordingly. Instead of providing qualification criteria for each tag, it can be extracted and made into an independent asset.
When you have a large website that contains a significant amount of data, then the accurate naming convention is the best practice to manage your website tags. The variables and tags are to be named in a specific pattern. This makes these tags across different pages easily manageable. You may not be able to change the names of certain variables and triggers.

Each channel variable must have a consistent definition. If you find it hard to name the variables, consider using the number-based system. Use labels to categorize related tags, load rules, and extensions.
